- "Region Code" appears
- Select RC with UP/DOWN (0=codefree)
- Press PLAY
- Press SETUP

- Select "Version" using DOWN
- Press PLAY
- Select region using UP/DOWN (0 = multi-region)
- Press SETUP

- Using the remote press 2, 8, 1, 2
- The display should show a hidden dialog where you can change the region code (9 = Region Free)
