Unlock Hyundai DVD players - DVD hack

Hyundai DM-R500

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Go to the bottom of the menu bar with the RIGHT key
  4. Then go to the bottom of the menu with DOWN (entry should be named "Default")
  5. Press 5
  6. Select "Secret"
  7. Press ENTER
  8. The number that follows "Secret Code" is the RC
  9. Select desired RC (0=codefree)
  10. Press ENTER
  11. Press SETUP again

Hyundai DVD-320A / DVD-360A / DVR-510C

  1. Method 1:
  2. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  3. Press 7, 7, 0
  1. Method 2:
  2. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  3. Press 7, 7, PLAY
  4. Select region (0 = multi-region)
  5. Press SETUP
  1. Method 3:
  2. Open the disc tray
  3. Press 3, 8, 0, 0
  4. Select RC (0=codefree)
  5. Press SETUP
  6. Close the disc tray

Hyundai DVR-510C / DVR-900A

  1. Make sure no disc is in the player
  2. Press 7, 7, 0

Hyundai HDP-380

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press 9, 3, 0, 1, 0
  4. Press STEP, SHUFFLE, NEXT

Hyundai HDP-550S

  1. Press OPEN/CLOSE
  2. Press STOP
  3. Press 1, 9, 9, 9
  4. Press ENTER
  5. Select "All"
  6. Press ENTER
  7. Press PLAY

Hyundai HDV-2000 / HY-7900

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Enter 2, 5, 8, X, (X = region code; 0 = multi-region)
  3. Press ENTER and ignore the error message
  4. Press PLAY

Hyundai HU-555

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Enter 8, 9, 2, 6, X (X being the region code; 0 = multi-region)

Hyundai HU-2010

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Select "CUSTOM SETUP" (press RIGHT 3x)
  4. Press 3, 3, 3, 3
  5. Select the region (codefree = 0)
  6. Press SETUP, exit menu

Hyundai HU-DIV3899

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Go to "Preferences Page" (don't enter it)
  4. Press 1, 3, 7, 9
  5. Enter the region you want (0 = multi-region)
  6. Press ENTER
  7. Power off

Hyundai HY-1020

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press VOLUME UP and ST-MO simultaneously
  3. Press ST-MO
  4. Select the region
  5. Press ENTER
  6. Press SETUP

Hyundai HY-3430

  1. The disc tray has to be empty
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Press NEXT four times
  4. Set "Vers" to "255" using the arrow keys
  5. Press SETUP

Hyundai HY-DVD580

  1. Open the disc tray
    2. Enter 2405915
  2. Press ENTER several times to set the region (9 = multi-region)
  3. Close the disc tray
