- Push STOP on the remote control
- Push 1, 9, 9, 9
- Select region code
- Press ENTER
Sansui DVX 2100
- Open tray
- Press 2, 8, 1, 2 (or 2, 9, 1, 2)
- Press ENTER
- Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select "Region"
- Change this number to 13 for region free
- Select the option below "Region"
- Change this number to 0 for macrovision free
- Press EJECT on the remote control to exit

- Open tray
- Press SETUP
- Enter 1, 3, 6, 9
- Press LEFT arrow three times
- Press RIGHT arrow once
- "Version" appears, select it
- Change region code to 0
