Unlock Yamada DVD players - DVD hack

Yamada DVD-2100 / DVX-6000 / DVX-6100

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press ZOOM, A-B, UP, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT

Yamada DVD-2500 / DVD-6500X

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press 2, 8, 1, 2
  3. Current RC should be displayed
  4. Select RC with PLAY (9=codefree)
  5. Press SETUP
  6. Close the disc tray

Yamada DVD-2500 / DVD-2600 / DVD-5220 / DVD-5520 / DVX-6700

  1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Go to "Preferences" page
  4. Press 1, 3, 7, 9
  5. Current RC should be displayed
  6. Select RC with UP/DOWN (0=codefree)
  7. Press PLAY

Yamada DVR-8000 / DVR-8400X

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Enter 008600 and the number for the region (1-6 or "0" for multiregion

Yamada DVR-8100 / DVR-9000H / DVR-9100H

  1. The disc tray has to be empty
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Go to "Exit"
  4. Enter 2, 9, 6, 0
  5. Select the region you want
  6. Press SETUP

Yamaha DVX-5500

  1. Power on
  2. Open the disc tray
  3. UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, RIGHT, LEFT
  4. Enter the region code (1-6 or 0 for multiregion
  5. Press ENTER

Yamaha DVX-6600

  1. Power on
  2. Press SETUP
  3. Go to "Preferences"
  4. Enter 4, 9, 5, 4, 0
  5. Choose the region with UP/DOWN
  6. Press ENTER
