Unlock Yamaha DVD players - DVD hack

  1. Open the disc tray
  2. Press 9, 9, 9, 9, 0
  3. Press ENTER
  4. Close the disc tray

Yamaha DV S5450 / DVD S510 / DVD S5350

    You need an "ONE FOR ALL" remote "URC-7560"
  1. To programe it, do the following:
  2. Press DVD on the remote
  3. Press and hold "MAGIC" a few seconds until DVD flashes twice
  4. Enter (0, 0,) 0, 5, 3, 9
  5. DVD flashes again
    The remote is now set.
    Caution! No disc must be inserted!
  6. Press "MAGIC" (only once)
  7. Enter 0, 8, 5
  8. Enter "222 222 005 255" (or "222 222 05 255")
  9. Confirm it with PLAY
    Now the player recognises automatically the RC of a DVD.
    This settings are saved as long as the player isn't unplugged.

Yamaha DVD-E810

  1. Open tray
  2. Enter 9, 9, 9, 9, 0
  3. Press ENTER

Yamaha DVD S520

  1. Press PLAY, 1, 5, 9
  2. Enter 222 222 005 255
  3. Press PLAY

Yamaha DVD S700 / DVD S796

  1. The player has to be in standby mode
  2. Press the button coresponding to the desired region (0 = multi-region)
  3. Press ENTER

Yamaha DVD S2500 / DVR-S120 / DVR-S150 / DVX S120 / DVX S150

  1. Power on
  2. Press PLAY
  3. Enter 2, 7, 4
  4. Enter 222 222 005 255
  5. Press PLAY
  6. Power off
