1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
2. Press SETUP on the remote
3. Press NEXT CHAPTER, STOP, STEP, PREV CHAPTER, NEXT CHAPTER on the player
4. Select region

1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
2. Press SETUP
3. Press NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER, NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER
4. "VerX" is displayed (X=RC)
5. Select the RC with RIGHT and LEFT (255=Codefree)
6. Press SETUP
7. Turn the player off

1. Press SETUP
2. Press NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER, NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER
3. "VerX" is displayed (X=RC)
4. Press LEFT until "Ver255" is displayed
5. Press SETUP

1. Press SETUP
2. Press NEXT/PREV alternating (or VOL+/VOL-) until "versX" is displayed (X = Version#)
3. Use the right cursor button to set the value to 255 (multi-region)
4. Press SETUP

1. Press OPEN/CLOSE on the player
2. Press 8, 4, 2 and 1
3. Select RC (9 = codefree) - press Enter
4. Press OPEN at the player
